§ Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Minister of Health if he will take steps to ensure that the casualty department at the Mexborough Montagu Hospital, which has been closed down, will be reopened immediately.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonIt has been necessary to close this department temporarily in order to reinforce the staff of Rother-ham Hospital, where there are a number of temporary vacancies. Arrangements have been made for patients from the Mexborough area who require emergency hospital treatment to go to Rotherham Hospital or to the hospitals in Barnsley and Doncaster.
