asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will refer to the National Board for Prices and Incomes the recent increases in charges levied by the Rickmansworth and Uxbridge Valley Water Company.

No. I have no evidence suggesting that the company has failed to take full account of the criteria for price increases laid down in the recent White Paper (Cmnd. 3590).
As my hon. Friend may know, the company will shortly bring into use a major new balancing reservoir; this, and a programme of trunk mains, have entailed heavy investment.
