§ Mr. J. P. W. MallalieuThe Manchester scheme is different in character from the pilot schemes in Glasgow and Bristol about which my right hon. Friend hopes to make an announcement next month. The Manchester scheme, although advertised in January, was not begun until late April and no results or costings are likely to be available until the autumn.
