§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will ensure that Scotland will have two posts of senior registrar for doctors engaged in the arthritic and rheumatic diseases, to ensure a system of training young doctors in this subject.
§ Mr. RossIt is not practicable to subdivide the senior registrar establishment into limited sub-specialities, but two Scottish hospital regions offer an opportunity for training in rheumatology to holders of posts of senior registrar in general medicine.
