HC Deb 21 May 1968 vol 765 c48W
35. Mr. A. Royle

asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on his recent talks with the Governor of Hong Kong.

Mr. George Thomson

I welcomed the opportunity to engage in a thorough review with the Governor of the present situation and current problems in Hong Kong.

These were most useful discussions and I was very interested to hear of the progress being made in certain fields of domestic administration, particularly in measures for the improvement of labour conditions.
