§ Mr. Carlisleasked the Minister of Transport if he will make a statement on the results of the meetings held between his Department and members of the Inland Waterways Association, with regard to the provisions of the Transport Bill.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe Inland Waterways Association, in common with several other bodies interested in the various recreational uses of the nationalised inland waterways, have made constructive suggestions about the waterways provisions in the Transport Bill. Some of these have led to Government amendments to the Bill.
