§ 38. Mr. Sharplesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will cause an investigation to be made into the methods used for the organisation of certain recent demonstrations in the London area, and in particular into arrangements made by the organisers to encourage demonstrators from overseas to come and take part.
§ Mr. CallaghanThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis has kept me fully informed about the demonstrations being held in London. I do not think there is need for any special investigation.
