HC Deb 14 May 1968 vol 764 c240W
Mr. Wood

asked the Postmaster General what was the cost of moving the letter box less than 10 yards at the corner of Eaton Place and Upper Belgrave Street, S.W.1; and what were the reasons for doing so.

Mr. Joseph Slater

About £18. The erection of an essential traffic sign nearby impeded clearance of the box. It was therefore moved about six yards to ease the job of the postman collecting the mail.
