§ Mr. Kitsonasked the Minister of Health how many patients are waiting for accommodation at Aycliffe Hospital; how many of these patients live in the North Riding of Yorkshire; what additional accommodation it is estimated will be provided in the near future; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. K. Robinson63, 13 of whom live in the North Riding of Yorkshire. By late 1970 it is expected that more than 500 additional beds will have been brought into use in other hospitals for the mentally subnormal which will help to relieve pressure on beds at Aycliffe Hospital. Within the next five-year period two 30-bedded villas will be added at this hospital.
