§ Mr. Englishasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the amount of the proposed increase in expenditure by his Department affecting Nottingham, as a result of the new Government policy of increasing expenditure on central urban areas, and the amount of the proposed consequent economies in expenditure by his Department affecting Nottingham.
§ Mr. CallaghanAs the Prime Minister announced on 5th May, the Government is urgently considering the programme of expenditure in urban areas of special need. Information about particular areas will not be available until this study is completed.
