ment intend, as the N.B.P.I. has recommended, to invite the company to withdraw the price increases which were introduced on 1st January, 1968. The Government are already in touch with the company to this end.
The Government will also enter into discussion with the company in relation to the issues involved in the international pricing arrangements which have been examined by the Board and which were the most important factor in the company's decision to raise their domestic prices.
