§ 27. Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what steps he will take to provide housing land in compensation for houses which are demolished for trunk road building purposes in towns which are short of such land.
§ Mr. MacDermotIt is the Government's policy that sufficient land should be available for authorities to meet their housing needs, whatever be the origin of those needs. Where there are difficulties in reconciling various land uses, I am always glad to arrange discussions with the local authorities concerned.
