Osborneasked the Minister of Transport in view of the uncertainty over the future of British docks, and the lower efficiency of some as compared with their Continental rivals, if he will issue as a matter of urgency a White Paper on dock nationalisation; and whether it is still his intention to bring the new arrangements into operation by 1970.
§ Mr. MarshI will make a statement on this subject as soon as I have completed my consideration of the views expressed in the consultations we have had with the many interests concerned.
