§ Mr. FernyhoughAt 8th April there were 351 men and 2 boys registered as unemployed at Ashington who were last employed in coalmining. My local officers are doing all they can to help them to find other work and offer training facilities where appropriate.
20WAs my hon. Friend knows, Ashington is one of the special development areas in which additional incentives have been made available to encourage new industry.
