§ Mr. John Leeasked the President of the Board of Trade (1) what was the average attendance of members of all public companies in which the Government had equity holdings, as expressed in numbers of persons attending and excluding cases where any persons attending held proxies on behalf of other members, for the year 1967; and what was the percentage of all members represented at such meetings;
(2) what was the average attendance of members, other than by proxy, at annual general meetings of public companies expressed as a percentage of the total membership for the year 1967; and what were the corresponding figures for 1945, 1951 and 1964.
