HC Deb 01 May 1968 vol 763 c225W
Mr. Scott

asked the Postmaster-General on what grounds he deleted the word, "far more than many a politician", from a General Post Office recording made by Miss Sheila Scott for the "Help Britain" campaign.

Mr. Mason

I asked the organisers of the campaign to delete the words from a recording made by Miss Scott which they proposed to use.

The words were inappropriate in the context of a message which would be carried by the public telephone information services.
