§ Mr. Oswaldasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what arrangements have been made in the National Health Service in Scotland for the prevention of haemolytic disease of the newborn.
§ Mr. RossPreventive treatment has already started by injecting certain mothers at risk with antibody produced naturally by another mother. This supply of antibody will become increasingly scarce as treatment proceeds, and arrangements are accordingly being made through the blood transfusion service to enrol a small number of volunteers who can be sensitised to produce the antibody.
