§ 61. Mr. Channonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what action he proposes to take to implement the Arts Council Report on Young People's Theatre.
§ Miss Jennie LeeImplementation is a matter for the Arts Council. Many have already been put into effect. A Young People's Theatre Panel has been established, and emergency grants totalling £14,350 were made in 1966–67 to five professional children's theatre companies. In 1967–68 the Arts Council has allocated £90,000 for the support of young people's theatre.
