§ 36. Mr. Leadbitterasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will state the number of cases dealt with by the Rent Officer in Hartlepool, the number of reductions, increases, and no change in rent, which resulted, and the cost in staff and maintenance of the office and administration directly arising from the work of the Rent Officer.
§ Mr. MacCollSeventy-five applications for registration of rent had been received up to 8th March, 1968; 61 of these had been determined and 13 were withdrawn or not entertained. The original rent was reduced in 39 cases, unchanged in 16 and increased in 6.
The amount claimed to date in respect of the rent officer service in Hartlepool since its inception is £3,907.
