§ Mr. Brooksasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will make a statement on his investigations into the possibility of setting up, with the use of a computer, a central clearing house system to help tenants exchange local authority accommodation in different parts of the country.
§ Mr. MacCollMy right hon. Friend's investigations have shown that the use of a computer for arranging such exchanges is technically feasible. It would not, I think, be financially viable if it were used for this purpose alone.
