§ Mr. HattersleyBetween 6th December, 1965, when the Redundancy Payments Act came into operation and 29th February,1968, £8,381,000 was paid in Scotland under the Act to some 44,500 redundant workers. Of this sum £2,021,000 was paid by individual employers and £6,360,000 from the Redundancy Fund.
