§ Mr. Joseph SlaterAbout 30 miles of overhead telephone lines have been replaced by underground cables at an approximate cost of £140,000. Most of this mileage has meant the disturbance of carriageways and this is the most expensive method. About 27 miles were in rural areas including 12 miles along the County Antrim coast road between Lame and Glenarm.
