Mc-Moyleasked the Minister of Transport, whether she will take into account, in her consideration of proposals for the strengthening of the public 93W transport system in South-East London, that there will be an extra 6,000 Associated Electrical Industries' employees travelling further to work following upon the closure of their current places of employment.
§ Mr. CarmichaelBritish Railways, I understand, are in contact with both the Greater London Council and Greenwich Borough Council to establish the likely effects on commuting of the proposed closure. These will as far as possible be taken into account in transport planning for the area.
