§ 66. Mr. Wolrige-Gordonasked the Minister of Health what guidance he is giving to those in the National Health Service whose objections to performing abortions may render them liable to prosecution on the coming into force of the Abortion Act.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonI shall remind hospital authorities and general practitioners that the Abortion Act, 1967 does not affect any existing duty to participate in treatment which is necessary to save the life or prevent grave permanent injury to the physical or mental health of a pregnant woman.
