§ Mr. Peytonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what entry was made in the Exchequer Accounts concerning the f15 million loan made by the Industrial Reorganisation Corporation to The English Electric Company Limited during 1967 in respect of which that company issued to the Industrial Reorganisation Corporation £15 million of subordinated unsecured loan stock.

A payment of £15 million to the Industrial Reorganisation Corporation will be recorded in the Appropriation Account of the Department of Economic Affairs for 1967–68.
