§ Mr. Colemanasked the Minister of Labour how many applications have been received in the last twelve months for retraining in Government training centres from men who have become redundant from the Welsh mining industry.
§ Mr. HattersleyIn the year ending 11th March, 1968, four applications for training at Government training centres were received from Welsh miners who had been declared redundant. The number of applications received from other ex-miners in Wales over the same period is not known but over the past six months 115 such applications have been made.
