Osborneasked the Minister of Transport what answer she has sent to the Lindsey County Council's request for the immediate replacement of the Keadby Bridge over the River Trent which carries trunk road A18 from Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Immingham; and, in view of the expansion of trade around the Immingham docks, if she will provide the necessary money without delay.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe Council is being informed that a proposal for a new road bridge is being considered for inclusion in the second instalment of the trunk road Preparation Pool.
