§ Mr. PeartThe general level of world market prices for cereals rose in sterling terms as a result of devaluation and a consequential increase in the minimum import prices is at present under discussion with our main overseas suppliers of cereals. It is not the Government's intention, however, that the minimum prices should be set any higher in relation to the general level of market prices than they were before devaluation.
