§ Mr. HattersleyI have received representations from a number of organisations in support of the introduction of equal pay for women. The Government are committed to the principle of equal pay and I have been examining the problems involved in consultation with the Confederation of British Industry and the Trades Union Congress, I have explained the latest position on this examination in my reply today to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Blyth (Mr. Milne).
