§ Mr. CarmichaelOne large principal road scheme in Cornwall, the Truro relief road, is at present under construction. Three more schemes are in the principal road preparation list. Apart from this, smaller schemes involving total specific grants of nearly £650,000 have been started over the last two years and, so far as funds permit and the priority of the works in question justifies doing so, further allocations will be made for such smaller schemes in future years.
