Q14. Mr. Hooley

asked the Prime Minister if, in the light of the fact that Mr. Ian Smith in a public speech on 1st February, 1968 repudiated the six principles, he will now refrain from entering into further negotiations with the illegal régime in Rhodesia, and instruct the United Kingdom representative at the Security Council to ask for the application of comprehensive mandatory sanctions.
