HC Deb 07 March 1968 vol 760 cc120-1W
Sir Knox Cunningham

asked the Postmaster-General what plans he has made for improving the collection and sorting of mail in Ulster; and if he will make a statement about the proposed dates of such changes as he has planned.

Mr. Edward Slater

No significant change is imminent; but we plan to open a new mechanised sorting office in Belfast by 1975 to improve and speed the handling of mail collected over a wide area in Northern Ireland.
