HC Deb 07 March 1968 vol 760 cc137-8W
Mr. William Wilson

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the practice of the Inland Revenue regarding the divulging to the Ministry of Social Security or any other Government Department of information in an affidavit filed in relation to the estate of a deceased person; and, in cases where such information is delivered, by what authority it is divulged.

Mr. Harold Lever

Information in an Inland Revenue affidavit of the estate of a deceased person is not disclosed to the Ministry of Social Security or any other Government Department except on the written authority of the persons who delivered the affidavit.
