asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) what is the average size of classes in schools for senior educationally subnormal children in England and Wales;

(2) what is the average size of classes in schools for senior educationally subnormal children in Cardiff.

The average size of class for educationally subnormal pupils in England and Wales in January, 1966 was 17.4 pupils. Separate figures for senior pupils are not available. The comparable average in Cardiff was 17.1.
