§ Mr. Rossiasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what use he made of the radio, Press and television to inform purchasers of land for house-building after 23rd September, 1965, of the extent of their liability for Betterment Levy if they failed to start development by 6th April, 1967.
§ Mr. MacDermotThe scheme of levy, including the provision to which the hon. Member refers, was widely publicised in the Press at the time of the White Paper on the Land Commission in September, 1965; and there was continuing publicity up to the introduction of the Bill.
