§ Mr. RossYes. The object of the review was to bring the relationship between provision and demand for pay beds more closely into line with that for other beds. I have agreed adjustments with regional boards which will result in 343 pay beds being available in Scotland compared with 571 before the review, a reduction of 40 per cent.
