asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many men teachers are engaged in junior and primary schools in Wales; if he is satisfied that number is sufficient for present purposes; and if he will make a statement.

3,270 in October, 1967. I consider this a reasonable figure in relation to the total supply of men teachers.
