HC Deb 04 March 1968 vol 760 cc20-1W
Sir C. Osborne

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give a corrected percentage figure for imports of knitwear in 1967 compared with home production.

Mr. J. P. W. Mallalieu

I regret that in an Answer on 22nd November my right hon. Friend gave the hon. Gentleman a figure of 7.7 per cent. for the first eight months of 1967 which was incorrectly calculated. This should have been 11.6 per cent. The corresponding (provisional) figure for the whole of 1967 is 11.3 per cent.—[Vol. 754, c. 1308.]
