Osborneasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer in view of the fact that instead of an estimated £100 million surplus balance of payments for this year, there will on current trends be a deficit of £350 million, what further steps he is taking to reduce internal demand and keep wage increases in line with productivity growth, to avoid the danger of international pressure on sterling.
