§ 10. Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he is aware that salary increases received by part-time teachers in secondary schools have not been applied to part-time teachers in further education; and if he will now take action to provide such teachers with back-dated increases.
§ Miss BaconThe rate of salary payable to part-time teachers in further education is a matter for the employing authority, but I understand many authorities have already paid increased rates back-dated to 1st April, 1968 and others are preparing to do so.
