§ 52. Mr. Goodhewasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what is the annual cost to local education authorities of meeting the requirement of Circular 11/68, dated 23rd April, 1968, which lays down that irrespective of family income a local education authority will provide school dinners free of charge to a child of a family which includes three other dependent children under 19 years of age.
