Mr. Burdenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what action he is taking to bring an end to the culling of seals on Scroby Sands which are authorised by his Department, in view of the representation made to him by the Universities Federation for Animal Welfare about the great cruelty often involved.
§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesThe Eastern Sea Fisheries Committee decided on 28th May to bring the cull to an end because of its lack of success.
