§ 50. Mr. Priorasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why changes have been made in the Farmer's Guide to Pay As You Earn, with regard to short period and casual workers; and, in view of the fact that the exclusion from the new guide of paragraph (b), section 64 of the 1964 guide will disrupt the payment of all casual workers, particularly in fruit and vegetable enterprises, and hamper the production and efficiency of the whole industry, whether he will issue fresh instructions.
