§ Sir D. Kaberryasked the Minister of Transport what is the present position with regard to the construction of the Stourton-Leeds section of the Ml which it was officially announced in January last would start during 1968.
§ Mr. MarshIt has been decided that the timing of the construction of this very short section of motorway should be related to that of the Leeds South East Urban motorway. The programming of the latter scheme has been affected by a substantial increase in estimated cost and this in turn will lead to a postponement of the Stourton-Leeds section until well after this year.
