§ 65. Mr. G. Campbellasked the Minisster of Transport what were the views and recommendations of the Scottish Economic Planning Council and the North East Consultative Group which he took into account before deciding to grant permission for the uplifting of the track of the railway line between Forres and Grantown-on-Spey.
§ Mr. MarshI can assure the hon. Member that I gave the fullest consideration to the views and recommendations I received from the Scottish Economic Planning Council and the North East Consultative Group before agreeing to the removal of the track between Grantown-on-Spey and Forres. Their advice is however given to Ministers in confidence.
