§ 1. Mr. William Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will circularise Welsh local authorities requesting them to purchase equipment required by them from firms located in the Welsh development areas when the goods are offered at a competitive price and quality.
§ Mrs. WhiteSuch matters are for local authorities to decide for themselves, but my right hon. Friend hopes that other things being equal, Welsh local authorities will always keep in mind the needs of the development areas.
