I have decided to establish a special committee to review the Board's sight tests at present in force for persons serving or intending to serve in the Merchant Navy or in fishing vessels, and the way in which these tests are applied and to advise whether any and, if so, what alterations are desirable. I shall make a further announcement on the composition of the committee as soon as possible.
