§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he now proposes to implement all provisions of the Schools (Scotland) Code 1956 as amended by the Draft of the Schools (Scotland) Code (Amendment No. 1) Regulations, 1968, including the provisions relating to maximum number of children per class.
§ Mr. RossAs regards the Amendment No. 1 Regulations I would refer the hon. Member to my reply of 20th May. In general it is for education authorities to implement the provisions of the Schools Code.—[Vol. 765, c.18.]
