§ 84. Sir F. Macleanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland why he is seeking again to increase the rent of number 15 holding at Third Part, West Kilbride.
§ Mr. RossAn increase in the rent of this holding is being sought as part of the general review of rents of my smallholdings in the lowlands which has been proceeding for the past four years. The rent was last increased in 1954. The case is now before the Scottish Land Court and it would not be proper to comment further.
