§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many specially trained service safety teams there are in Scotland, England and Wales, respectively, to operate in support of the police 199W and give service in the event of an accidental detonation resulting in radioactive contamination.
§ Mr. BoydenThere are three, 23 and one Royal Air Force teams respectively in Scotland, England and Wales, specially trained to deal with hazards arising from any incident involving radioactive material. In addition there are certain other trained and suitably equipped personnel at Service establishments, including Royal Navy monitoring teams, who could assist if necessary.
